(Sorry, this is re-uploaded. I was having troubles with the music licensing) Yes, yes, I know the video is long, but that’s because it’s a baking video!!! So this is my first time making this and it surprisingly turned out well. I found the recipe from: joyofbaking.com I changed a couple of measurements, but nothing too drastic. You can also decorate it with meringue mushrooms… the oven was being used so I couldn’t make any 🙁 Yule Log Recipe: 1/4 cup (50 grams) plus 2 tablespoons (28 grams) granulated white sugar 6 large eggs, separated 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 4 ounces (112 grams) bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, chopped in small pieces 3/4 teaspoon cream of tartar Chocolate Whipped Cream: 1 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream (contains 35-40% butterfat) 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 3 tablespoon (40 grams) granulated white sugar 1 1/2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder Chocolate Buttercream Frosting: 2/3 cup unsweetened baking cocoa 1 cup butter or margarine, softened 2 cups powdered sugar 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1 to 2 tablespoons hot water Yule Log: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) and place the oven rack in the center of the oven.
