  3. im 12 and my mom calls me the dessert fanatic and the dessert critic i never had a desert i didnt like then i ate this strawberry cake from a store and it was gross its was pretty on the outside but nasty on the inside like some people these days

  4. and for the dull strawberry taste, I find that fresh strawberries are often very crappy and tasteless, I find better results with frozen strawberries, as the frozen strawberries you get in the grocery store are packed at the factory with the ugly ones they wont use for anything else, BUT they are most oftent the best tasting!

  5. Its important to really concentrate that strawberry puree meaning get all the liquid out as much as possible or you will be over saturating it, and in turn causing a really heavy cake. Most have had this same problem, I just dont always realize the problems people will have until after they have them, and obviously after the video has been made, but I always try to answer and help on the Blog, direct your questions there for best answers, I dont oftne come here to do it

  6. I made this cake. I found it to be really mild in strawberry taste and the cake was dense. It wasn’t bad but not my favorite. I really wish the cake was more fluffy and light. Thanks for the recipe though, had fun baking it,

  11. I made a strawberry cake for my mom’s birthday this week and it tasted doughy and just blecch. Also, it was pink on the outside, but the inside had turned puce, like a pinkish brown. What did I do wrong?!?

  12. Here is a cookies and cream frosting recipe
    1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
    1 (16 oz)powdered sugar
    1 (8 oz) container Cool whip, room temperature
    15 Oreos, crushed
    ¼ tsp. pure vanilla extract In mixer, cream the cream cheese and sugar. Add vanilla, mix well, and stir in Cool whip. Mix well. Fold in crushed Oreos until well blended . Refrigerate cake until ready to serve and refrigerate any leftovers.

    My mom wont let me make its she says she can eat the whole thing!
